This issue has been filed against the UCS version "unstable" which does not really exist. Please change the version value. Back at UCS-2.4 times when UVMM was first implemented the libvirt domain XML format could not be used for storing custom user data. Therefore it was decided to store the "profile name" and "contact information" in an associated LDAP entry linked by UUID. Since libvirt-0.9.10 application specific meta data can bed added, which would allow us to move the data into the XML file and drop the LDAP code. <https://libvirt.org/formatdomain.html#elementsMetadata> Now that we already store the list of migration target hosts in the XML (Bug #45846), we should mode the extra information from LDAP there as well. This issue has been filed against UCS 4.3. UCS 4.3 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed. If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug" or reopen it and update the UCS version. In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting you. |
