At the moment "myorigin" is hardcoded to @%@hostname@%@.@%@domainname@%@ in /etc/univention/templates/files/etc/postfix/main.cf.d/10_general.

http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html#myorigin recommends to set it to $mydomain in certain situations. In other environments it might be useful to use a domain which is independent from the already defined attributes (see http://forum.univention.de/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=2860).
This change would require a change in the template.

A UCVR mail/postfix/myorigin was introduced (with the FQDN as default), that allows to change Postfix' "myorigin" option.
