Description Erik Damrose univentionstaff 2014-03-06 15:34:21 CET
When installing a component's defaultpackages [1] via the app center's repository settings tab, an apt-get update should be called beforehand.

There is a use case if an app configures additional components during its installation, from which further packages must be installed. If there is no apt-get update beforehand, the defaultpackages are not known to the system.

[1] definied via ucr (repository/online/component/[name]/defaultpackages)

Issue an apt-get update before installing default packages from a component in
  univention-management-console-module-appcenter 3.0.51-6.240.201403171531
Comment 2 Felix Botner univentionstaff 2014-03-20 16:35:20 CET
OK - after selecting a component and clicking "Install" (and before the
confirmation) an apt-get update is performed .

OK - YAML
