Joining a new printserver or rejoining an existing one will delete all settings/printermodel objects including the user defined ones.

(Except UCR cups/keep/ppds=true of cause).

Btw: cups/keep/ppds={on,enable,yes,enabled} does not work either. It is hardcoded checked for "true".

FAIL - there is something similar in 79univention-printserver-pdf.inst (but
  only removes "cn=PDF,cn=cups,cn=univention,$ldap_base")
  Should this also be deactivated?

OK - rejoining (join does not delete printer model list)
