Description Stefan Gohmann univentionstaff 2015-12-21 06:59:18 CET
In some environments the sysvol data are only changed on the DC master. For those environments it should be possible to define the synchronisation way. That would reduce the complexity.
Comment 1 Arvid Requate univentionstaff 2015-12-21 11:34:00 CET
There are two additional UCR variables for this, which may be set to no/false:

 * samba4/sysvol/sync/from_upstream
 * samba4/sysvol/sync/from_downstream

Advisory: univention-samba4.yaml
Comment 2 Felix Botner univentionstaff 2015-12-21 13:06:11 CET
OK - samba4/sysvol/sync/from_upstream
OK - samba4/sysvol/sync/from_downstream
OK - univention-samba4.yaml

ucs@school:
samba4/sysvol/sync/host is always the master on school slaves. With ucr set samba4/sysvol/sync/from_downstream=false one can disable the sync from slaves to the master (sysvol synchronization way: master -> slaves)

To avoid future misunderstandings:

To disable sync from Slaves to Master one has to set

 samba4/sysvol/sync/from_downstream=false

on the Master!
