The tests creates 8k groups and 100 users using udm_test.UCSTestUDM.create_{group,user}(), which fork()s and exec()s an external "udm" process. This is very slow and today blocked the QA for an important security release of Dovecot. Please have a look at test/ucs-test-tools/usr/sbin/create-32k-users-in-groups and improve the speed.
