According to the UMC the DHCP request always fails after jumping back to network settings if the DNS server is no AD system. When activating the checkbox "IP-Adresse automatisch beziehen (DHCP)" a popup dialog is shown immediately "DHCP-Anfrage schlug fehl". According to /var/log/syslog the DHCP request was successful.

In this case, the problem happened during the installation. The network page is not shown by default, but only when the network configuration cannot be approved. In the case of this bug this happened when selecting "join into AD domain". When then selecting the DHCP button the flavor "wizard" is not sent along with the progress request (cf. Bug 36875).

I would suggest to allow flavor=* for the user __systemsetup__ in univention-management-console-module-setup.postinst as workaround for now (this fix had been applied to the appliances, as well).

Fixed. Package is building in errata scope.
Created YAML file 2014-11-21-univention-system-setup.yaml [r56054].

OK: DHCP works
OK: YAML

Between UCS 4.0 and this erratum the user __systemsetup__ will now have an additional operationset in the cached ACL's. I guess this will not make any problems in the future.
