Description Dirk Wiesenthal univentionstaff 2013-12-05 12:40:32 CET
The UCR variable for the default search attribute of all UDM modules does not work: It is queried at the very beginning but overwritten by

  this._ucr['directory/manager/web/modules/' + newObjType + '/search/default'] || '';

as soon as objectType changes - which happens immediately.

Could be fixed or removed completely.

I vote for removal. What is the point of an LDAP attribute that is used for searching all UDM modules? Who uses this? And what value is used?

We would also get rid of the bad naming. See Bug#33253

Different case.

This issue has been filed against UCS 3. UCS 3 is out of the normal maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in UCS 4.

If this issue is still valid, please change the version to a newer UCS version otherwise this issue will be automatically closed in the next weeks.
