The documentation for memberOf is quite short compared to the steps described in the SDB: <http://sdb.univention.de/1085>

The most relevant question is:
Is it still necessary to install/activate memberOf on all DC-Slaves prior to DC-Master/DC-Backup?

Probably WORKSFORME. memberOf is activated by default.

AFAIK the module is no longer "optional"  and the manual should be updated accordingly.
