Description Philipp Hahn univentionstaff 2014-08-18 15:59:34 CEST
The function wait_for_drs_replication() in lib/samba4.sh only works for newly added objects, but cannot be used to wait until the S4 connected synchronized a modification or deletion of an existing object, as it only performs an "ldbseach" and checks if the (given) attribute exists.

There are several ucs-test cases where we need to wait until the S4 connector has synchronized a newly created/modified/deleted object, which currently use "sleep $SOME_GUESSED_VALUE" to work around this missing function.

We need something like "wait_for_s4_synchronization [--ignore-rejects]".
