Univention Bugzilla – Bug 36837
Warning about missing network can be ignored - leads to broken installer
Last modified: 2019-01-03 07:16:51 CET
Created attachment 6415 [details] Depends on working network configuration PT UCS-4.0 The (Debian) installer tries to configure the network. If that fails one can select between retry, manual config, link-local and to 'go back'. This leads to the Debian-Installer main menu. Here one can select to continue with partitioning. For some of the subsequent modules the D-I jumps back to doing the network configuration, but this can be ignored again and again until finally USS is started, which fails horrible without a network configuration, as the launched WWW browser then can't connect to localhost. The attached patch should fix the problem my adding a dependency on "netcfg" for "di-univention-system-setup".
