Setting up an encrypted LVM wipes all block devices by default: My 500 GB test system is doing this since ~7h and will probably need ~3h.

Reading <https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=721360> one can cancel "blockdev-wipe" by using the cancel button, but that is not obvious.

The wipe can be skipped by pressing the button "cancel". That is IMHO enough.
