Univention Bugzilla – Bug 37622
UMC System Setup says "Done" without having done anything (timeout?)
Last modified: 2016-10-10 17:24:50 CEST
Created attachment 6631 [details] logs.tar.bz2 While setting up an UCS 3.2-4 domain (starting with ucs-kt images) with master, backup and slave I left the System Setup Boot on the (not yet) slave on the final summary screen for quite some time (due to update issues on the backup..). When I finally hit the button to start the installation the authenitcation dialog popped up, asking for the password of the UCS domain Administrator. After entering the correct password and clicking Ok I immediately received the response that the setup completed successfully. I extracted the logs from the machine and confiremed that it actually had not been joined (univention-check-join-status).
Created attachment 6632 [details] ucs323setupdone.png Screenshot of the slave (ucs3.2-3 ucs-kt-image).
Can this be reproduced on 4.0? AFAIK, there are some fixes that have been done for the setup wizard (already in the development for 4.0 as well as in the latest errata).

The resent-command-after-auth-fix? Maybe this is not enough because this fails if there are multiple requests at the same time (and there is currently the progressbar which is started at the same time). Bug #36843 will probably fix it.
