Description Michael Grandjean univentionstaff 2016-04-28 16:55:54 CEST
A release upgrade (minor and major) leaves the last errata component of the previous version enabled:

> root@master:~# ucr search --brief repository | grep -e enabled -e false
> repository/mirror: false
> repository/online/component/3.1-1-errata: false
> repository/online/component/3.2-0-errata: false
> repository/online/component/3.2-1-errata: false
> repository/online/component/3.2-2-errata: false
> repository/online/component/3.2-3-errata: false
> repository/online/component/3.2-4-errata: false
> repository/online/component/3.2-6-errata: enabled
> repository/online/component/4.0-0-errata: false
> repository/online/component/4.0-1-errata: false
> repository/online/component/4.0-2-errata: false
> repository/online/component/4.0-3-errata: false
> repository/online/component/4.0-4-errata: enabled
> repository/online/component/4.1-0-errata: false
> repository/online/component/4.1-1-errata: enabled

See discussion at Bug #39614. That's currently the product design. The main problem seems to be if the customer uses out-of-maintenance UCS versions.

Maybe we should re-think our strategy.

What are those serious problems? (I didn't look at the ticket).

@Florian: For example bug 41597
