Description Daniel Tröder univentionstaff 2016-05-25 16:58:52 CEST
Support yearly change of class.

Two scenarios exist:

* The script rename_class runs _before_ the import. It changes class groups and shares. The import changes only the users data. Permissions and shares are kept this way associated to the previous users.

* No special care is taken. The import changes the users. They might get access to existing shares with data of previous owners.

Just to be sure:
the new import tool shall not alter class groups or class shares. This is the task of rename_class.

Is there any change/special code required for the new import tool?

The rename_class script works on classes & shares created during an import with the drop-in replacement. No change is needed.
