Univention Bugzilla – Bug 41684
AD Connector: computer objects are synchronized by default
Last modified: 2019-02-14 12:13:01 CET
The manual (chapter 9.3.3) says: "In the default setting, containers, organizational units, users and groups are synchronized." That's incomplete, since computer objects are synchronized by default, too. I guess this was introduced as a "member mode" feature.

I've changed the manual. git.knut.univention.de:univention/ucs.git 05a84662a4..fa64d5b08a stefan/docu-cleanup -> stefan/docu-cleanup Jenkins build: http://jenkins.knut.univention.de:8080/view/Doku/job/BuildDocBookBranch/43/artifact/webroot/manual-4.3.html#ad-connector:ad-connector-einrichtung http://jenkins.knut.univention.de:8080/view/Doku/job/BuildDocBookBranch/43/artifact/webroot/handbuch-4.3.html#ad-connector:ad-connector-einrichtung Please reopen the bug after the QA, so that I can merge it.
Could you remove or clarify the next sentence too. "Users have an exceptional position since the password cannot be queried via the LDAP protocol in Active Directory." I do not understand this and it is not in the German version.

Yes, I've removed it and merged the other changes.
