Currently all options from the u-c-r-v file with Advanced!=true are shown before the installation.

This is not intuitive and not what one expects, we should have a dedicated parameter for that.

=> show option before installation only if showBeforeInstall=true (or whatever name you like), do not user the Advanced parameter for that

We should probably drop Advanced=True. Instead we could add something like:

Show=install,upgrade,migrate,settings,settings-advanced

hmm, i dont like that, that way we have settings that are shown only before the installation and then never again? What kind of settings should that be?

You don't habe to use it that way (it would be a list). But settings that cannot be changed may be an example.

We could also add
Editable= along with Show=.

I was unable to fix this in a separate bug. So this was done in the big Bug#43816.

Write = Install

will show a setting in the Install dialog.
