Description Erik Damrose univentionstaff 2017-01-16 16:59:19 CET
Could also be component: kernel

ucs_4.2-0-20170113-131245-dvd-amd64.iso does not detect the available disks on xen1 and xen2 correctly. When selecting a target device for installation, unlimited available devices with size 512 bytes are shown.

The UCS 4.1-4 installer correctly detects the available disks.

Same happens with UCS-4.1-4+errata, as that is the same kernel.
 ucs207=4.1.34 works
 ucs217=4.1.36 is broken

It is a regression introduced in 4.1.36 with 9a9a2373142ac2c6fd9df9d038eb929b919e30d7 and fixed by c27edfb64bbff3cd5d8fc723161128dd4bb57789 in 4.1.37

Will be fixed through Bug #42754

Verified: works with kernel ucs222 9.0.0-16.122.201701251450.
This is the next ucs 4.1-4-errata kernel.
Interim ucs 4.2 bug, no changelog required
