External feedback via Ticket#2017071621000281

A user provided feedback that he was not able to configure a software RAID 5 during installation. Without it, the system will not be useful for him.

The installer should offer a simple way to create or use a software RAID 5 and install UCS in it.

This issue has been filed against UCS 4.2.

UCS 4.2 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug" or reopen it and update the UCS version. In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting you.

D-I supports configuring software RAID - I just checked it successfully. You must select manual partitioning and do the full spiel manually.
