Description Nico Gulden univentionstaff 2017-11-10 15:30:23 CET
Feedback at Ticket#2017102121000077.

The system seemed to be taking ages to complete the system setup. The user would love to have the possibility to see progress in logfiles or even have limited possibilities with a CLI.

When installing via DVD, one can switch to a console by pressing <ALT>+arrow keys, then 'chroot /target'.

When installing a UCS appliance, <CTRL>+F1 takes to a tty, root password is the same that was used in system-setup, or access as root via ssh.

UCS App Appliances can not be accessed during system-setup, as they are not yet activated. Until activation, root + ssh login is blocked.
