Description Nico Gulden univentionstaff 2017-12-14 15:43:18 CET
A private user remarked that the system setup was not completing successfully for a virtual machine on a QNAP NAS with the storage interface configured to "IDE". Changing the setting to "SCSI" made the system setup wizard finish successfully.

This issue has been filed against UCS 4.2.

UCS 4.2 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have changed in later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug" or reopen it and update the UCS version. In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting you.

IDE is dead for a long time now and at least we should check, it it still is supported by current versions. Providing images which no one can use are useless and a wast of our time to generate them. We provide them for easy usage and as such they should be usable on current setups.
