Description Michael Grandjean univentionstaff 2019-02-14 16:03:12 CET
Customer asked for this during Summit 2019

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #38039 +++

A customer requested via Ticket#2015012021000312 a pre-defined share where pupils can easily submit documents. The idea is:

- teachers have full access to the share
- pupils only have write-access to the share, no read access (facl: -wx)

Submitting documents works via drag&drop.

Nextcloud has such a sharing option (using a URL I think).

Nextcloud file drop

(In reply to Daniel Tröder from comment #1)
> Nextcloud has such a sharing option (using a URL I think).

Owncloud and Nextcloud have a feature called File Drop. One can share a link to a folder and select the "File Drop" option. The link can be password-protected and an expiry date can be set. At least in Owncloud the expiry date can also be forced by the admin.
The link leads to a very simple page that only allows uploads to that folder. Files can't be seen, removed, edited or whatever.

NC file drop from the submission perspective

This is what it looks like from the "submission perspective". The Download button in the top right corner leads to an error message. Maybe it can be disabled, Owncloud doesn't have such a button.
