Currently it is not possible to change an expired password in KDM. If you try to log in with an expired password, you will get two prompts telling you that your password is expired, but then you are not able to actually change it.

KDE Desktop will be discontinued with UCS 5.0. We won't fix cosmetic issues in UCS 4.
