Feature request: Use `motd` for common warning messages
Last modified: 2021-01-22 10:39:35 CET
It would be very easy to implement a script to show a message with each SSH login showing a warning messages when running out on disk space. A text file could be placed under `/etc/mot.d/low_disk_space` and kept up-to-date by a cronjob or systemd.timer. It would be no more than a convenience feature you may argue, but given that it causes problems so often, that some of us have already made it a habit to check for free disk space, this feature would also model our experience in code and there may be other habits which could be modeled in the same way.
