Description Daniel Duchon univentionstaff 2021-04-20 10:46:05 CEST
Since Microsoft has disabled SMBv1 in Windows (and rightly so), there is no longer NetBIOS over TCP available.

As a result, share browsing in unjoined Windows clients also no longer works.

Affected users can only mount shares as a drive via "net use".

A possible solution would be to integrate a WSD daemon (e.g. https://github.com/christgau/wsdd) as NetBIOS over TCP replacement.
