Description Julia Bremer univentionstaff 2022-05-05 12:50:37 CEST
In the samba.postinst, the smbd service is usually getting masked
depending on the samba server role (SERVER_ROLE=`samba-tool testparm --parameter-name="server role" 2>/dev/null | tail -1`) ).

Since the server role is not set during a fresh installation, the smbd service is not getting masked.

It is only getting masked after the next package upgrade.
