Mit VNC gibt es immer wieder Probleme, wenn das Tastaturlayout des Client-Rechners nicht mit dem konfigurierten Layout der VM-Instanz übereinstimmt.
Es gibt eine Erweiterung des VNC-Protokolls, durch die statt "Zeichen" dann "Keycodes" übertragen werden.

Es sollte geprüft werden, welche VNC-Client-Programme (außer virt-viewer) diese Erweiterung unterstützen und ob das insbesondere auch für den von UVMM verwendeten Java-VNC-Client unterstützt werden kann.

At least "virt-viewer" (or any other VNC-viewer using libgtk-vnc-1.0-0 like "gvncviewer" or "vinagre") should be moved to maintained, as entering a backslash ('\') is nearly impossible using the Java-VNC-Viewer, which renders administrating Windows VMs impossible.

This issue has been filed against UCS 2.4.

UCS 2.4 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in
later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug".
In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting
you.
