Description Dirk Wiesenthal univentionstaff 2012-12-21 22:26:21 CET
Found while fixing Bug#29635.

The values of the two attributes CtxBrokenSession and CtxReconnectSession can be set to "Disconnect" resp. "All Clients". Internally this means 0000. These values are not saved in the user object, at least they are not sent to the Frontend when UDM asks for all current values. When Bug#29635 is CLOSED, the Frontend will never say that there are "No changes made" for Users, as the Frontend will always identify "0000" as a change to the initially not-existant value (sent from the server).

Is mungeddial used anywhere else besides the User object (and User template...)?
Comment 1 Florian Best univentionstaff 2014-12-04 00:30:57 CET
The attributes CtxBrokenSession and CtxReconnectSession were initially unset. This had the disadvantage that UMC did set a default value and detected them as 'modified' → Bug #31884.

Fix: svn 56400
Package: univention-directory-manager-modules (10.0.29-5)
YAML: 2014-11-28-univention-directory-manager-modules.yaml
Downgradeable to UCS 3.2-4: possible and preferred!
Reproducing: create u user with "User Password Admin" permissions. Login into UMC with that user. Try to change the password → changing will fail. The same applies to users/self account without posix option(?).

A backport to 3.2-4 would probably help in a customer project (see Issue#602).

OK - both attributes have a default value (0000) - check with udm users/user
OK - Dialog "No changes made" is shown
OK - yaml file
OK - debian changelog
