Univention Bugzilla – Bug 35583
Hide firefox tabs in any case
Last modified: 2014-12-04 12:22:05 CET
The firefox/iceweasel of system setup (called by debian installer) should always hide the tab bar, even if the mouse moves to the top of the screen.
The current (UCS3.2-2) system setup already ships a firefox addon that hides the tabbar. The way system setup is called has to be adjusted for 4.0. See usr/share/univention-system-setup/startxwithfirefox
We could use the autohide tabbar extension. It seems to work.
I don't think it is a blocker for the release. Remove TM and waiting for feedback.
Created attachment 6418 [details] patch to hide nav-bar The addon is currently used, but moving to the top of the screen in appliance mode reveals the nav-bar nonetheless. Attached is a patch to fix the problem: set hidden=true for nav-bar
This bug is occuring in UCS4 (see debian installer is mentioned in bug description), changing version
