Univention Bugzilla – Bug 36571
portmap not shown in services module - deprecated by rpcbind
Last modified: 2017-04-04 18:28:29 CEST
There exists the UCR variable portmap/autostart but the service is not shown in UMC.
The package "portmap" is deprecated in Debian Wheezy/UCS-4.0 and replaced by "rpcbind". univention-base-files still provides a template for "/etc/init.d/portmap" and a service description file, which no longer work. Worse: purging "portmap" fails as "/etc/init.d/portmap" still exists and "update- rc.d" as called from "/var/lib/dpkg/info/portmap.postrm" refuses to do it's job as "-f" is not given to force the removal.
