I would suggest the other way around:
if there is no favorites entry, the category favorites should be hidden.

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #36737 +++

We should add default favorites for UCS@school users. Currently the UMC starts with an empty category.

The "Favorites" Category toggles between visible and not visible depending on whether favorite modules are selected or not.

This look very good!

Can you make the fade in animation a little bit faster? It looks like there are 2 animations with a stop between them.
