Description Dirk Wiesenthal univentionstaff 2016-07-12 03:47:03 CEST
Wording for the "Publish" button is confusing.

Duplicate packages should be deleted if the user wants to.

Allow udeb files (Debian Installer packages).

Discontinue the support for README files etc. ISVs need to upload README_EN. The edit page of the Self Service does not support three files per README type, just two (_EN, _DE).

* I would really like a 'Delete everything before unpacking' button above the 'Upload archive' button. I know of ISVs that have scripts that put together everything for a new app release automatically - old files could introduce confusion / hard to debug errors, due to e.g. old packages beeing available.

* Fix package grid to show all (u)debs in the app

* There are currently 16 'Show editor' buttons for the various READMEs etc, excluding the one for the ini file. I think we need an indicator that shows if i have uploaded an e.g. README_POST_UNINSTALL that i need to adapt.

Many of what was planned for this bug will be done in Bug#42635. No need for two separate "meta usability" bugs.
