+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #43823 +++

At least for non appbox images we need to store the /ect/machine.secret (password for the docker container host object) before an image update and restore the file after the update.

An ISV wants to release an app update and ran into this problem, i increase the severity to 5: blocking further progress on the daily work.
