Univention Bugzilla – Bug 47026
Display info text at KDE login
Last modified: 2019-07-31 15:27:42 CEST
Some customers were unsure which user to log in as in KDE. They tried to use the root user, but that does not work. Instead we should inform the user, that the administrator account should be used to log in.
I have added a small text, that is displayed at the KDE log in screen. It tells the user, that the "Administrator" user is the default administrative user. univention-kdm (4.0.0-2) c387eb8f8315 | Bug #47026: Suggest using the Administrator user at KDE login univention-kdm.yaml cbc6d7f8586d | Bug #47026: Add yaml file
This message overwrites the "Login Failed" etc. messages. Maybe put the text on top of the login box (but check the caps lock message).
Thanks for the hint, I didn't think about that. I have moved the username hint down a bit. univention-kdm (4.0.0-3) 410f031ed62d | Bug #47026: Fix position of the username hint univention-kdm.yaml 46a76c21f8de | Bug #47026: Update yaml file
