Description Alexander Kläser univentionstaff 2013-07-22 18:52:58 CEST
It would be helpful to have a link in the App center license mail which points directly towards the license dialog in UMC of the corresponding server. That would make it even easier to import the license.

Even nicer would be to have the license information encoded as query string in the URL to UMC.

Technically this seems feasible. The maximum URL length for standard browsers should not exceed 2 kB:

A license on a test system had after base64 encoding a size of about 1.4 kB (gzipping would shrink it down to 0.8 kB).

See Bug #33676 for the generic problem.
