Description Florian Best univentionstaff 2014-11-12 12:20:51 CET
When creating a Computer: Windows Workstation/Server there is a checkbox "Initialize password with hostname" in the Account title pane under Advanced Settings. If this checkbox is enabled the object cannot be saved if the hostname is shorter than 8 characters.

The LDAP object could not be saved: Invalid syntax. Password: The password is too short, at least 8 characters needed.
