Description Nico Gulden univentionstaff 2019-09-30 11:26:44 CEST
If the attribute UMCOptionsAttributes is not present in the app's .ini file, the app will not show up on the Apps Tab in the user umc module.

The attribute has to be added as Custom Entry in the Advanced section.
Comment 1 Nico Gulden univentionstaff 2019-10-11 17:16:27 CEST
Added a paragraph about the necessary custom configuration to the introduction of the identity management chapter.

See https://git.knut.univention.de/univention/ucs/compare/4.4-2...ngulden%2F50293-umcoptionsattribute

For QA, please build branch `ngulden/50293-umcoptionsattribute` in Jenkins at http://jenkins.knut.univention.de:8080/job/BuildDocBookBranch/

After successful QA, please reopen so I can merge it. Thank you.

There is already Bug #48789 for the documentation of app tabs.
I have the wish that new apps should not use the broken way of adding extended attributes which simulate a extended option (aka. UMCOptionsAttribute). Please please please don't document this.
