Im Rahmen der UCS-Enwicklung ist das schon an den Bug 8838 und Bug 9938 aufgefallen. Der im Paket dhcp3-client enthaltene dhclient sagt beim Aufruf nur "eth0: device not found".

Ein aus den Etch-Sourcen gebauter Client funktioniert. Die Sourcen sind bei uns gepatcht, da sie auch den dhcp-Server enthalten.

Funktioniert auch mit eth0 als Argument.

UCS 2.3 wurde veröffentlicht. Sollte der hier beschriebene Bug mit einer neueren Version von UCS erneut auftreten, so sollte der Bug dupliziert werden: "Clone This Bug".
