Es wird wohl keinen IPv6-fähigen ISC-DHCP in squeeze geben.

Da es noch keine stabilen Debian-Pakete vom ISC DHCP 4.x gibt und ausserdem mit einer Umstellung umfangreiche weitere Änderungen notwendig werden, wird damit vorerst kein DHCPv6 möglich sein.

Ich würde es begrüüssen, wenn dabei auch der radvd beachtet wird. Ein DHCP ist bei Auto-Configuration der IPv6-Adresse ja auch gar nicht mehr unbedingt erforderlich, die IP ergibt sich dann ja aus der mac-Adresse die bereits im UCS gespeichert ist.

Ich denke auch, daß wir kein DHCP benötigen werden – zumindest in absehbarer
Zukunft – solange ein rtadvd läuft und mehrere Netzwerke (à /64) bedient
werden können.

Aktuell kann über NDP/Router Advertisements keine Verteilung von z.B. DNS-Einstellungen stattfinden. In diesen Fällen wird DHCPv6 benötigt.

This issue has been filed against UCS 2.3.

UCS 2.3 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in
later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug".
In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting
you.
