Bug zum Import der aktuellen Bacula 3 Version.

Die 3.0.x Version stellt die aktuelle, gepflegte Bacula Version dar. Außerdem enthält sie eine Reihe Features die der 2.4er Version fehlen (Exchange Plugin, Win64 Support, Exclude-File Support ...): http://bacula.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/bacula/tags/Release-3.0.2/bacula/ReleaseNotes

Zu beachten ist dass mit der 3er Version ein neues Catalog-Format verwendet wird. Ein Script zum Update wird mitgeliefert und könnte im postinst ausgeführt werden (wird evtl. sogar im orig. Debian Paket - die RPMs machen das wohl so).

Es gibt jetzt ein Meta-Paket univention-bacula, welches die bacula Pakete installiert, in Verbindung mit Postgres.

Es gibt während des Updates ein Problem:

Das Paket bacula bringt jetzt ein leeres Verzeichnis mit /usr/share/bacula, damit scheint es zu funktionieren.

Bacula kann über USS installiert werden.  Dabei wird "univention-bacula" mit Abhängigkeit zu den PostgreSQL installiert.

UCS 2.3 wurde veröffentlicht. Sollte der hier beschriebene Bug mit einer neueren Version von UCS erneut auftreten, so sollte der Bug dupliziert werden: "Clone This Bug".
