Das ulimit für Scalix-Tomcat sollte per UCR konfigurierbar gemacht werden. Dies ist nötig, um bei großen Migrationen dem Indexer-Dienst genügend Ressourcen bereitzustellen.

Dafür ist das Initscript von scalix-tomcat so zu erweitern, dass vor dem Start das ulimit gesetzt wird. Empfohlene Werte für das ulimit liegen bei 10000, 50000 oder noch größer, abhängig von der Anzahl der migrierten Benutzer + Daten.

Warum setzt Scalix das nicht direkt? Wäre es nicht genau so gut das zu dokumentieren?

Der ulimit-Wert hängt stark von dem tatsächlichen Einsatzszenario ab. D.h. eine individuelle Anpassungsmöglichkeit wäre sinnvoll.
