Beim Produkttest für DHCP in der Schulungsumgebung trat das Phänomenauf, daß das beim händischen Testen plötzlich mehrere dhclient's pro Interface aktiv wurden:

1. /etc/init.d/gdm stop
2. /etc/init.d/ifplugd
3. killall dhclient3
4. : > /var/lib/dhcp3/dhclient.leases
5. dhclient3 eth1

Welche Systemrolle hatte das System?
War das System aktualisiert worden?
Gab es negative Auswirkungen durch Prozesse?

Das Problem bzgl. mehrerer dhclients ist bereits bekannt. Bug #16652

Installation von CD mit Version UCS_2.3 ~2009-12-09

Auswirkungen: nein, habe ich nicht darauf geachtet, weil das gerade nicht mein Thema war. Auffällig war nur die sehr unterschiedliche Lease-Zeit der beiden Instanzen:
 bound to 10.200.17.136 -- renewal in 19688 seconds.
 bound to 10.200.17.136 -- renewal in 16 seconds.
