Seit 2.4-3 existiert die Möglichkeit UCR-Variablen als nur lesbar zu deklarieren. Damit sind die dann in der UMC nicht mehr änderbar (ausgegraut).

Eine Änderung auf der Kommandozeile ist weiterhin möglich (und auch weiterhin nötig, da z.B. die System Setup Skripte die UCR-Variablen setzen.)

Es sollte aber zumindest eine Meldung ausgegeben werden, dass diese Änderung an einer Read-Only-UCR-Variable eher über System Setup erfolgen sollte.

Die ReadOnly-Funktionalität wurde zu UCS-3.0 wieder aus UMC entfernt, die über Bug #22755 dort eingeführt wurde.
Entweder die Bugs sind damit hinfällig oder es fehlt ein Bug gegen UMC-UCR-3.1, der die Funktionalität erneut implementiert. Ggf. ist das an Bug #23223 geplant?

This issue has been filed against UCS 2.4.

UCS 2.4 is out of maintenance and many UCS components have vastly changed in
later releases. Thus, this issue is now being closed.

If this issue still occurs in newer UCS versions, please use "Clone this bug".
In this case please provide detailed information on how this issue is affecting
you.
