Description Sönke Schwardt-Krummrich univentionstaff 2011-09-02 12:33:07 CEST

often requested in projects, solved by PS through customer specific hook scripts every time
Comment 2 Dirk Schnick univentionstaff 2022-08-02 12:29:28 CEST
Another customer is requesting this.

BTW a hook is no simple workaround; it would be nice if this import possibility will become part of our import.

For over 10 years, we solved this with an import shell-hook, but shell-hooks are no longer possible and python hooks cannot access additional columns in the import file for computers. A solution would be much appreciated, maybe just allow multiple MACs in column 3, separated by comma?
Comment 4 Dirk Ahrnke univentionstaff 2023-04-21 17:58:22 CEST
Bug 55014 has introduced the ability to import additional columns
See comment 6 for an example to import MAC-addresses

This feature was implemented via #55014 as stated above.
