Folgende db-stat Fehlermeldung aus dem slapd init script ist irreführend. Sie sollte besser nach /den/null umgeleitet werden und durch eine Meldung ersetzt werden, die besagt, dass db_stat die BDB-Version unter der Datenbank unter
/var/lib/univention-ldap/ldap nicht feststellen konnte.

root@master:~# /etc/init.d/slapd start
Check database: db4.8_stat: DB_ENV->open: /var/lib/univention-ldap/ldap/: No such file or directory
/var/lib/univention-ldap/ldap BDB Version does not seem to match the one back-bdb uses.
Skipping /usr/bin/db4.8_recover to avoid damage.

Skipping /usr/bin/db4.8_recover to avoid damage.
