Das S4 Joinskript benötigt relativ lange. Das fällt vor allem beim Konfigurieren der VMware Images, aber auch bei der Installation auf. Ggf. kann das Provisioning beschleunigt werden.

Könnte ab samba4 beta6 besser sein, WHATSNEW.txt sagt:

+- Provision is now faster, as we now correctly use the database
+  indicies during the provision

Die Performance, Fehlerbehandlung und Modularität des Samba4-Joinscripts und des setup-s4.sh Scripts wurden ein bisschen verbessert. Insbesondere bricht das Joinscript jetzt mit Fehler ab, wenn das samba provision fehlschlägt.

UCS 3.1 Changelog ist angepasst.

OK, die Geschwindigkeit ist in Ordnung. Produkttests und Tests bzgl. Samba 4 Update kommen noch, so dass dann das gesamte Joinskript nochmal getestet wird.
