Momentan gibt es folgenden Fehler beim Dateiupload im IE8:

TypeError: 'getElementsByTagName(...).0.value' ist Null oder kein Objekt
TypeError: 'getElementsByTagName(...).0.value' ist Null oder kein Objekt

Das hört sich ziemlich nach Bug #25031 an.
