UCC sollte während des Bootvorgangs einen grafischen Bootsplashvorgang darstellen. Vorraussichtlich weiterhin über Plymouth.

Es sollte eine Konfigurationsmöglichkeit bereitstehen, die den Einsatz eines lokalen Designs ermöglicht.

Ubuntu verwendet bereits Plymouth, hier sind keine weiteren Anpassungen nötig. Für ein eigenes plymouth-theme-ucc gibt es bereits Bug 28317.
