Allerdings scheint ansonsten alles zu funktionieren. Nach ein paar Sekunden ändert sich der Text in Paket-Aktualisierungen installieren...

Auch IE8 prüfen! Muss mit Dojo 1.8 zu tun haben, denn in 3.0 ging das noch.

IE8 kann keine Transparenzen, daher werden dort transparente Spinner nicht angezeigt.

Es handelt sich in meiner Erinnerung aber um den IE9. Und der kann das, soweit ich weiß (würde aber nicht darauf wetten).
