Univention Bugzilla – Bug 30035
Incorrect generation of partner repository
Last modified: 2013-04-11 06:46:35 CEST
Setting this variable in the config file of an image # Use partner repository? partner: true results in the following traceback: W: Failed to fetch http://ubuntu.knut.univention.de/ubuntu/dists/precise/Release Unable to find expected entry 'partner/binary-i386/Packages' in Release file (Wrong sources.list entry or malformed file) The partner repository is only hosted at Canonical and not mirrored due to distribution constraints. The variable should be removed, users can instead add deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu precise partner deb-src http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu precise partner to the sources_list: section of the config file.
The "partner" option has been removed from the image toolkit. The apt source of the partner repository was added to the standard configs instead.
The partner variable has been removed from the config file -> OK The sources_list section contains the partner mirrors -> OK On an installed client image the repositories are present in /etc/apt/sources.list -> OK -> Verified
